Wear Boston Day: Help Boston heal following Monday's tragedy

Wear Boston Day: Help Boston heal following Monday's tragedy, Wear Boston Day is on Friday, April 19. People all over the country and even the world are being asked to help the city of Boston heal following the tragic events that transpired on Marathon Monday. According to Boston.com, thousands of people are planning on wearing shirts, hats, or other gear that says "Boston" on Friday as a way to show support for the mourning city.

"For some, dressing in race jackets, Red Sox hats, or even homemade gear — two Emerson students had sold more than 2,500 'Boston Strong' charity T-shirts by Wednesday evening — seems like a fitting way to come together in the aftermath of Monday’s tragic bombings," Boston.com reports.

Wear Boston Day will officially be tomorrow but people have been "wearing Boston" since Monday. It is a way for many to remember the lives lost and the lives changed forever. Wearing Boston in any way tomorrow will show that America is stronger than any bombs, tougher than any metal pressure cookers, and braver than any one who thinks they can bring us down.

This is just one way that people all over the country can come together and stand strong with a city that will not waiver. Will you be "wearing Boston" tomorrow?
