Update: Suspect surrenders days after triple shooting at Macon home, The man who allegedly shot three people at a Macon home surrendered Thursday.

But police have not released any details on the motive for the triple shooting or the circumstances of what happened.

Mr. Keith Valentino Jackson, 42, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to Macon police.

The shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday at 2315 Adams Ave., police have said.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found one man with gunshot wounds on the sides of his abdomen, police spokeswoman Officer Jami Gaudet has said.

“A second person was unresponsive, having sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and head,” Officer Gaudet said. “A third person drove himself to the Medical Center where he was treated for his wounds.”

Police have not released any information on the victims' conditions or their connection to each other.

It was also unclear if they have any connection with the suspect who police said surrendered around 5:30 p.m. and was transported to the Bibb County jail.
