Windy, cloudy, and cool with a chance for scattered rain/snow showers, In less than 24 hours, the weather has gone from Spring to Autumn. In the wake of the heaviest two day rainfall on record for the month of April and in two years, cold air has filtered into the region. Temperatures have plummeted from the 60s Thursday afternoon into the 30s this morning behind a strong cold front. Temperatures will be well below normal this afternoon (40s). In addition, the center of the storm system that dumped record rains across the region will spin over the region today as it continues to lift northeast toward the Upper Great Lakes region. Cloud cover will be extensive with the chance for scattered rain/snow showers and gusty winds. After today, the weather remains rather quiet through the weekend with the next chance for rain coming Monday or Tuesday.

Friday: Partly cloudy and cool. Chance for rain/snow showers. Highs in the lower to mid 40s. Winds northwest 15-25 mph gusting to 40 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs in the mid to upper 40s. Winds northwest 5-15 mph.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, breezy, and warmer. Highs in the upper 50s. Winds south-southwest 10-20 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy and mild. Chance for showers and thunderstorms late. Highs in the lower 60s. Winds southwest 5-15 mph.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy and mild. Chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs near 60. Winds southwest 10-20 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds northwest 5-15 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and cool. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Winds northwest 5-15 mph.
