Warm temperatures with the risk for thunderstorms in Clarksville this week, A weak cold front will remain to the north of the Clarksville area today allowing warm, humid air to overrun the area. Temperatures today will reach eighty, but the risk for showers and thunderstorms will also be present. The showers and thunderstorms today and tomorrow will be isolated in nature, but could produce heavy rains where they do develop. Temperatures will climb into the lower eighties by Wednesday before the next system moves into the Clarksville area Thursday night. This system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region overnight Thursday with some storms being strong to severe. The main threat with these storms will be strong winds and heavy rain. Temperatures behind this system for Friday will cool back into the upper fifties, and will cause the upcoming weekend to be a cool and comfortable weekend for those going to Clarksville's River and Spires.
