Missing Deltona man sought in Volusia

Missing Deltona man sought in Volusia, The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing Deltona man and is seeking the public’s help in locating him.

Volusia County Sheriff’s spokesperson Brandon Haught says 36-year old James Sheaffer “…went missing under suspicious circumstances…” on April 2, and has not been seen since by his live-in girlfriend or family.

Sheaffer worked for a limousine company and was last seen getting into a black passenger car at the business. Sheaffer’s car was left behind and he did not show up for his next assignment at the company.

Sheaffer is described as 5-11 in height and 275 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He also has several tattoos including one on his right neck that says “GINGO”, one on his right calf that says “Metallica Skull”,

and one that reads “NCC” on his right forearm. Sheaffer lives on Horseshoe Terrace and works at Blue Diamond Limousine on Regent Drive in Deltona. He was last seen in his work clothing; black dress shirt, pants and shoes.

The Sheriff’s Office says he may have been having financial difficulties recently.
