Is the Holly Bobo disappearance a cold case now?

Is the Holly Bobo disappearance a cold case now?, When Holly Bobo vanished two years ago, nobody imagined that she would go without being found for so long. Now it seems like there may never be closure in this case, and even today so few details add up properly. As of April 13, 2013 it was reported that the woman's family still searches for her even as her case reaches the 24th month. The community of Darden, Tenn. reportedly gathered in vigil to remember the missing nursing student -- and balloons were released. But what about the investigation? Has anything new developed over the past several months of silence?

The definition of the term "cold case" varies from department to department and state to state -- but overall, it's a case that has gone longer than a year without being solved. When Holly's disappearance turned one-year-old the TBI refused to acknowledge her disappearance as a cold case, claiming that leads were still being investigated. Here it is two years later and there have been no investigative updates. Are they still reluctant to call this a cold case?

Family members claim to still believe that Holly Bobo is alive and being held captive somewhere, but there doesn't appear to be any evidence of this. Early in the disappearance of the 20-year-old woman blood was found on the property -- blood that was tested positive as belonging to her. This was a violent abduction -- if it even was an abduction -- and it's almost impossible to believe that she was not murdered.Hopefully the next year brings answers in Holly's disappearance, but if the past is any indicator of things, there will likely be years before any answers are had.
