Former Razorback and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Pat Summerall dies at 82

Former Razorback and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Pat Summerall dies at 82, A football giant has left us. Hall of Fame sports broadcaster Pat Summerall, who played for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 1949 to 1951, has died in Dallas, TX at the age of 82. Cardiac arrest has been listed as the cause of death. He was a placekicker. Summerall also played for the Detroit Lions, the Chicago Cardinals and the New York Giants. His broadcast resume includes CBS, Fox and ESPN.

Summerall was also know for his broadcasts of the PGA Tour matches. You may remember him doing the 1994 Masters Tournament.

A fun fact to remember: Summerall notched up a total of 16 Super Bowl broadcasts.
