Daycare worker arrested for biting 5-year-old boy on his arm

Daycare worker arrested for biting 5-year-old boy on his arm, Robin Mullins, 56, a daycare worker in Cincinnati, was arrested on Thursday for biting a 5-year-old boy. She bit him after he bit another child. Mullins said she wanted to teach the boy a lesson. Mullins left a visible bite mark on the child’s arm.

Authorities have charged Mullins with assault.

Local media contacted the Andrew’s Friends Pre-School and Daycare for a response. Staff members didn’t comment and referred calls about the incident to owner Terry Tarbin.

According to the daycare’s website, staff focuses on encouraging a child’s development and confidence.

For now, the daycare website still lists Mullins as a staff member. The site also says she has many years of experience in caring for children and is trained in child abuse recognition and prevention.

She was released from the Hamilton County Justice Department on her own recognizance. Mullins has also been ordered to stay away from the daycare and the child.
