Cops investigating after pantless man drove past Lynbrook school, Police are investigating what they are calling an unusual incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in which a man was seen removing his pants and underwear and then driving past an elementary school in Lynbrook, Nassau County police said Thursday.

Detectives said the man was seen behind bushes along Scranton Avenue, a major thoroughfare in Lynbrook, “removing his pants and underwear,” at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said witnesses reported seeing the man enter a dark colored Volvo SUV with white colored NY licenses plates. The man then drove south on Waverly Avenue and was seen just a few minutes later driving past the Marion Street School at 100 Marion St. in Lynbrook, cops said. The unknown man did not drive on school property and students had been dismissed from the school already, police noted.

Police are now seeking the public’s assistance in locating the man, who is described as being a 35-40-year-old white or Hispanic male with very light skin. He is approximately 6-feet tall and weighs 180-200 lbs. and was last seen with very close shaved hair and was wearing a beige shirt.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
