Cloudy skies and a threat of showers this week, A series of disturbances will produce scattered to broken cloud cover today through tomorrow with a threat for isolated to widely scattered showers throughout the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas. The best potential for showers will be over southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50′s along the coast and upper 50′s to lower 60′s elsewhere. Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower to mid 40′s for lows and lower to mid 60′s along the coast and mid to upper 60′s elsewhere for highs.

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover on Wednesday and Thursday with winds shifting to the west at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rebound to slightly above normal temperatures. Low temperatures will range from the upper 40′s to mid 50′s with the coolest locations over the interior. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid 60′s along the coast and mid to upper 60′s elsewhere.

A cold front will slowly approach the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas on Friday with scattered showers becoming an increasing threat through the day. Temperatures will be well above normal with lows in the lower to mid 50′s and highs in the upper 60′s to lower 70′s.

The cold front will move through the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas slowly on Saturday with widespread showers and thunderstorms. The showers will produce heavy downpours at times. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 50′s for lows and mid to upper 60′s for highs.

High pressure will take hold on Sunday with scattered clouds and near normal temperatures. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 40′s for lows and lower to mid 60′s for highs.
