Boston Marathon explosions: Dozens injured at finish line in Boston, Two powerful explosions have injured dozens of people at the Boston Marathon finish line on Monday, April 15, 2013.

The Boston Globe tweeted, "BREAKING: Dozens of people seriously injured after 2 powerful explosions detonated near the line of Boston Marathon."

In addition, the Boston Marathon website has also crashed on those who are hoping to find out information about friends and family who were in the race on Monday.

According to CBS, the explosions happened around 2:45 p.m. outside Marathon Sports on Boylston Street.

WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes states that there were "incredibly powerful explosions just seconds apart."

CNN reported at 3:12 p.m. "Explosions heard near Boston Marathon; police seen treating injured people" but no other information was given.
