MSN reports April 19 that a Reddit user by the name of ColdRunnings posted the image with a message that he obtained the image from a family friend of "one of Boston's finest."
Tsarnaev was found in a backyard in Watertown while hiding in a boat. A neighbor saw blood outside the boat and after exploring the situation further, the suspect was discovered underneath the tarp.
The second Boston Marathon bombing suspect was injured in gunfire with police Thursday night. After he was arrested, he was quickly taken into custody.
In the photo seen above, Tsarnaev is on the ground as members of the SWAT team assess the wounded suspect. At first several reports were published that Tsarnaev was dead after the shooting, but they reversed the reports that he was taken by authorities alive.
What will law enforcement learn after this horrible tragedy? The whole city of Boston was on lockdown so police could track down Tsarnaev. Residents were told to stay inside and not answer their doors no matter what. It's hardly what anyone in the U.S. thought would happen in their own community.
