According to a report from the Huffington Post on April 20, police responded to a home invasion in the British Columbia only to find about 8,000 cookies laced with pot.

Around noon on Thursday, a report was made that someone was trying to break into a home. Although the two suspects took off on foot, the police did not go away empty handed. They seized about 8,000 cookies that were allegedly laced with pot. In fact, the White Rock Royal Canadian Mounted Police said, "It was a bit like a bakery in there."

Police arrested not one but three suspects, a man and two females on charges of possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. The police arrested the trio after finding the large amount of cookies and an undetermined amount of pot. The charges against the man and two females carry a potential sentence of jail time under Canada's Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
