4 shot in basement: Bodies of 2 men and 2 women discovered in Ohio

4 shot in basement: Bodies of 2 men and 2 women discovered in Ohio, Four adults were found dead in a basement on Thursday, all four were shot in the head. The bodies were found in a northeast Ohio town housing complex. According to the Newark Advocate on April 18, 2013.

The bodies found at the complex on Akron’s northeast side were that of two men and two women, all believed to be in their 20s, according to Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority executive director Tony O’Leary. Police reported to O'Leary's office that no weapons were found in the home.

Not much information was released about this case, not even if the police are actively seeking any suspects, but if a weapon wasn't found, a murder-suicide doesn't seem feasible, so this seemingly would be a homicide. No other details were released including their names.

Officers canvassed the area for information in an area now roped off by crime scene tape. The older housing project is near a mall and it's a normally quiet area, according to police. O'Leary said, “It’s certainly not what some people see as a typical public housing unit.”
