A cool weekend with scattered showers in Clarksville, A cut-off area of low pressure has brought scattered showers and cold temperatures to the Clarksville area. Temperatures today are expected to be fifteen to twenty degrees below average as highs will only reach the lower fifties. With this system, scattered showers are expected today, but will start to diminish tonight and into Sunday as the area of low pressure moves over the Clarksville area. The risk for precipitation is expected to last into the upcoming workweek as the region remains in a weak trough between two areas of higher pressure. The chance for precipitation will be low and a few peeks of sun are expected to shine through the clouds at times. Temperatures will begin to warm back into the seventies by Tuesday as the area of low pressure moves out of the region.
