Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday April 17, 2013. Joshua Lee Barnes, 30, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County police and charged with disorderly conduct and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Barnes remains in custody at the time of this publication. Two cash bonds totaling $1133.50 have been set. See also (2/1/2013) (1/5/2013) (11/29/2009)

Steven Wayne Boatner, 38, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Guice and charged with leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run). Boatner was released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department.

Brice Allen Bowman, 29, of Bowden was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for probation violation. Bowman remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (12/8/2011) (8/27/2009)

Donald Victor Colvin, 50, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license. Colvin remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $2,700 property bond has been set. See also (2/18/2012) (11/9/2010) (8/1/2010) (12/12/2009)

Dadrian Jejuan Cummings, 19, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Cummings remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $10,100 property bond has been set. Beverly Elaine Davies, 29, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Amos on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court. See also (four arrested on meth charges) (7/16/2011) (1/4/2010)

Dana Shae Gipson, 41, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County deputies on warrants for hit and run, failure to report an accident with injuries, death or damage and failure to maintain lane. Gipson was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $2,270.

Jeremy Allen Harris, 37, was arrested by Polk County Police Officer Borders and charged with expired license, driving with no license on person and no seat belt.

Christian Avery Hobby, 23, of Kennesaw was arrested by Polk County deputies on a warrant for deposit account fraud. Hobby was released the same day after paying $277.14 cash.

Stacy Dalane Hooper, 23, of Rockmart was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer Zuker and charged with driving on a suspended license and a seat belt violation. Hooper remains in custody at the time of this publication. Mathew Dalton Stroup, 44, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown Police Officer McClendon and charged with possession of schedule ii drugs, possession of schedule III drugs and possession of pills not in original container. Stroup remains in custody at the time of this publication. Three property bonds totaling $5,100 have been set.

Christopher Shawn Vaughn, 42, of Cedartown was arrested by Polk County deputies on warrants for failure to appear in superior court and contempt of court regarding child support. Vaughn remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (1/20/2013) (6/22/2012) (8/27/2010)

Marquez Javon Ware, 25, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County deputies and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA), third degree cruelty to children under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA).
