Mayor's daughter assaulted during track meet

Mayor's daughter assaulted during track meet, Olivia Nutter, the teenage daughter of Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, was assaulted during a high school track meet last week, NBC reported on April 24. According to the report, the incident happened in the 1100 block of East Sedgewick in Germantown on Thursday.

Reportedly, Nutter was near a group of girls when one of them told her to move before she was allegedly punched in the head.

Police arrested an 18-year-old female, and she has been charged with simple assault.

According to the police report, the mayor's daughter was walking towards a small group of girls at a track meet in northwest Philadelphia, when one of them told her to move. Shortly after the verbal exchange, police say Olivia Nutter was assaulted.

Lisa Nutter, Olivia's mother, told media sources that her daughter was involved in the incident but she is doing just fine.
