Man is bitten to death by beaver while snapping its, A 60-year old fisherman in Europe was killed by a beaver while he was trying to snap a photo of the animal.

According to an April 11 report by USA Today, the attack happened in Belarus while the man was fishing with friends on Lake Shestakov.

The man approached the beaver to take a photo, and the beaver bit his thigh, severing the artery. Although his friends attempted to stem the blood flow and save him, he died.

Beavers are semi-aquatic, nocturnal rodents with powerful teeth used for chomping through trees to build their dams.

A Boy Scout leader was viciously attacked by a beaver while swimming in Pennsylvania in 2012.

There was also a Russian man who was attacked and managed to catch part of the attack on video. The beaver attack has gone viral on YouTube. You can see that video here.
