High pressure briefly returns with sunshine and drier weather for a pleasant day, High pressure will build back into the region today with sunshine and drier weather. The stationary front to our south will then return northward as a warm front by Thursday and Thursday night with unsettled and mild weather returning once again to close out the workweek. A cold front will then clear the region late Friday with showers and thunderstorms as cooler weather arrives for the weekend.

Today – Mostly sunny. High 59-63. Winds northwest between 10 and 15 mph.

Normal High/Low: 59° / 38°

Tonight – Mostly clear. Low 36-40. Winds north between 5 and 10 mph.

Thursday – Mostly cloudy and breezy with a slight chance of rain showers or drizzle in the afternoon. High 60-64. Winds south between 15 and 20 mph, gusting up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday Night – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers. Low 52-56. Winds south between 15 and 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
