‘Got 2 grams for $40′ prank sweeps Twitter and sends parents in a panic, A prank that has gained a huge following among teenagers is sweeping Twitter. The "Got 2 grams for $40" prank started when comedian Nathan Fielder, host of the Comedy Central show "Nathan for You," sent his Twitter followers this message. “Experiment: text your parents ‘got 2 grams for $40′ then right after ‘Sorry ignore that txt. Not for you’ Then tweet pic of their response.” A post from the Daily Mail on April 25 says that the prank is causing panic among many concerned parents -- and understandably so.

The response texts only show the parents' initial reactions to the "Got 2 grams for $40" prank, but it would be interesting to see how they felt when they found out it was all a joke.

It's safe to say that the joke is really on the sender of the message, because it may not be easy trying to explain to your parents that the "accidental" text was just an innocent prank.
