Weak high pressure will build into the region today and last through the first half of Thursday bringing fair and relatively mild weather to the region.

The cold front mentioned above will stall to our south through Thursday, and then surge back northward toward the area as a warm front Thursday night.

This front should be through the region by Friday morning, setting the stage for a significant warm up to close out the work week.

This warming will be short lived though as a potent cold front slices through the region overnight Friday, bringing chances for moderate to heavy shower activity that may linger into early Saturday morning.
