Disneyland's Memorial Day Weekend 'Monstrous Summer' all-nighter planned

Disneyland's Memorial Day Weekend 'Monstrous Summer' all-nighter planned, Moms and dads planning a Disneyland Memorial Day weekend trip will want to know that there will be no rest for the weary on May 24, when the Disney Parks in Florida and California kick off their "Monstrous Summer" plans by staying open all day and night. According to Yahoo! Finance on April 27, three theme parks will stay open 24 hours on that day in May, beginning at 6 a.m. at Florida's Magic Kingdom Park, Disneyland Park, and the Disney California Adventure Park.

Epcot's Spaceship Earth has gotten a transformation in advance of the celebration, with Disney turning it into Mike Wazowski from "Monsters, Inc." and there will also be a "Monsters University," per UPI.

Most parents have a hard time handling their brood at the fun park for eight hours or less, and now they've got to figure out how to keep going for 24 hours? It helps that this is the beginning of summer fun and not the middle of it, as everyone will be eager to get started with thrills and laughter.

Disney isn't just catering to the "Monsters" crowd with their all-nighter in Florida, as they are also planning events like the late-night dance parties for the Cinderella Castle courtyard and being able to find many characters in their pajamas in Town Square.

In California the "Mickey and the Magical Map" stage show will be one fun alternative to the "Monsters" focus, as well as the Fantasy Faire with Disney Princesses. And at both Disneyland theme parks there will be the new attractions to enjoy, such as the New Fantasyland, already getting rave reviews.

Disney plans to keep up their "Happiest Place on Earth" image by extending the fun for 24 hours straight on May 24, and they hope you bring your children and family to Florida or California's theme park as a result.
