Crash blamed on zombies: 19-year-old steals truck, says zombies chased him

Crash blamed on zombies: 19-year-old steals truck, says zombies chased him, A crash blamed on zombies is making strange news headlines this week, as The Epoch Times reported this Wednesday, April 10, that a 19-year-old man from California who was charged with stealing a truck and crashing it is now saying that it was all because zombies had him on the run.

Jerimiah Hartline allegedly stole a big rig truck this weekend that was filled with strawberries down in Riverside County. While speeding down Interstate 15, he smashed a few times into other vehicles and the truck finally overturned.

In the individual crashes, the 19-year-old injured seven individuals, as well as hitting at least two other cars and blocking several lanes, noted the report.

The crash blamed on zombies headline came as a result of Hartline later claiming he was on the run from zombies that had begun to follow him. Hartline is currently in jail.

One Highway Patrol Officer said that the 19-year-old was in an altered state at the time of the accidents.

“He was arrested at the crash scene and appeared to be in an altered state, claiming he was being chased by zombies,” the officer confirmed, adding that it was some unknown drug that led to the hallucinations.
