Coma request Bob Seger: 79-year-old woman wants concert after five-year coma, A post-coma request for a Bob Seger concert is making the public smile this week, as the Huffington Post reported this Wednesday, April 10, that after 79-year-old Evie Branan woke up from a five-year-long coma back in 2011, she had only one thing on her mind.
Under the headline, “Coma request Bob Seger: Woman wakes to ask to go to Seger concert”, the Post reported that Branan wanted solely to attend another Bob Seger concert. Now, that dream is going to become a reality this month.
Almost two years afterwards, Branan will be attending Seger’s concert performance in Mich. this Thursday, marking her fifth time seeing the musical talent live.
The coma request for Bob Seger was made possible through the staff of Willowbrook Manor, whose administrator helped procure a ticket and including a full limousine ride and dinner after the concert.
"I'm so excited I can hardly breathe," Branan told MLive.com. "What am I looking forward to the most? Hugging Bob Seger and giving him a big smooch."
