Audrie Pott: 3 boys arrested for Audrie Pott photos of rape, The Audrie Pott crime case has taken a new shape on Friday, April 12, as 3 boys have now been arrested and are accused of sexually battery against Pott, who was just 15-years-old at the time. Pott is said to have become so distressed at not just the assault, but the humiliation of having the photos of her alleged rape be spread around her high school, that she committed suicide.
Now, Pott’s parents are seeking justice for her daughter’s alleged attackers.
Before Pott decided to hang herself, The Daily Mail reports that she wrote the following on her Facebook page:
“The whole school knows. My life is ruined.”
As for what’s happening with the 3 16-year-olds who were arrested, here’s what the Daily Mail is reporting:
“The trio of 16-year-olds are being held at Juvenile Hall until a detention hearing, which is expected to take place early next week. As of Thursday evening, they have not been charged with a crime.”
Now, the Audrie Pott Foundation, is talking about the three boys who have since been arrested in relation to the alleged crime against Pott.
Here’s what the Foundation had to on Friday, April 12:
"We suspect that the boys who we believe are responsible for Audrie’s death took deliberate steps to destroy evidence and interfere with the police investigation. If students have information about this crime, if they saw pictures or know anything that will assist in bringing these young men to justice, please come forward. Audrie's family is asking for any students with information to please contact our attorney, Robert Allard at rallard@cmalaw.net or 408-289-1417"
