Amazing Sandcastles and Sculptures at Clearwater Beach, Artists and sculptors from across American are at the Clearwater Beach creating amazingly detailed sand sculptures. Their works so far include dolphins, aquatic life, cars, and my favorite a Dragon. The artists are competing in the 10-day Frenchy's Sugar Sand Festival, which runs until Sunday, April 28.
Some sculptures are out in the open, but most of the sand sculptures are under a tent, which is located 50 yards south of Pier 60. The festival also includes sand-sculpting clinics, acrobats, and dancers.
Tickets to enter the tent and tour the sculptures are $7 for adults, and $5 for students, seniors, and military personnel.
