Adam Lanza bullied: Sandy Hook murders a result?

Adam Lanza bullied: Sandy Hook murders a result?, Adam Lanza was bullied when he attended Sandy Hook Elementary School -- the same school that he went through with a gun back in December. On April 17, The Inquisitr reported that a family member gave some insight as to why Lanza may have decided to murder children and other people at the school.

"Nancy felt fiercely protective of him … She was convinced the school wasn’t doing enough to protect Adam. It made her irate. Adam would come home with bruises all over his body … His mom would ask him what was wrong, and he wouldn’t say anything. He would just sit there," said the family member who didn't want to be named.

Adam Lanza being bullied in elementary school is not an excuse for what he did by any means. However, it does shed some light on how bullying affects people, even when they grow older. Some kids who are bullied end up being very depressed and never really get over the malicious treatment that they experienced when they were kids.

Lanza may have been scarred by what the kids in school did to him, making him go back to the site of the bullying and take out his frustrations. The relative that spoke to the media about this said that Lanza was just never "right" after being bullied. The relative called him a "sick boy."

Are you surprised that Adam Lanza was bullied in school? Do you think this had something to do with the murders he committed?
