Abortion trial: Media failing to cover mass murder trial

Abortion trial: Media failing to cover mass murder trial, The abortionist, Kermit Gosnell, is on trial for killing seven children and one pregnant mother, but the media has not been reporting the story. Kermit Gosnell could be considered a serial killer, but, because the children he killed were slaughtered moments after botched abortions, that title isn't being given to him. According to an April 10 report by Fox News, with only a few exceptions, the media is failing to cover a mass murder trial.

Kermit Gosnel has been charged with killing seven babies, all born alive. Eight employees at the abortion clinic have pleaded guilty to a variety of other charges. Despite this, very few people know about this murder trial.

Sherry West, who worked at the abortion clinic with Kermit Gosnel testified she saw the abortionist plunge “scissors into their spinal cords” after they were born alive. Another employee at the abortion clinic estimated that he had seen Kermit Gosnel kill about 100 babies.

The abortion clinic where Kermit Gosnel worked catered to low-income and minority women. He specialized in late-term abortions.

Despite all of this, ABC had yet to cover the story. CNN has reported on the mass murder trial one. In fact, ABC, CBS and NBC have only spent 41 minutes and 26 seconds, combined, reporting the story.

At the time of publication, it was unknown why the media is avoiding reporting the mass murder trial. It was also unknown if the media would start covering Kermit Gosnel and his trial where he has been charged with eight different murders.
